Album: Ill Considered II (Live at the Crypt)
Founded in 2017, Ill Considered is a prolific British jazz band that creates freely improvised music. The groove-oriented band was formed by drummer Emre Ramazanoglu, saxophonist/clarinetist Idris Rahman, bassist Leon Brichard and percussionist Yahael Camara-Onono, who will soon be replaced by Satin Singh. Each of the members had previously worked with a variety of some of the UK's most popular rock, pop and jazz artists, but Ill Considered was a musical vessel in which they were able to express themselves more freely. In 2017 and 2018, the band released nine albums, most of which were numbered – Ill Considered, Ill Considered 3, Ill Considered 4, etc. - mixed with a few live albums and a Christmas album called An Ill Considered Christmas. In 2019, the band released only one album, Ill Considered 8: With the departure of bassist Leon Brichard in 2020, they replaced him with Liran Donin and released two albums: 9 - East/West and 10 - The Stroke.
