A silent silver plane – it draws a golden chain
One by one, all the stars appear

In the million insect storm, the constellations form

I have no idea exactly what I've drawn
Some kind of change, some kind of spinning away
With every single line moving further out in time
And now as the pale moon rides

Her form in my pale blue lines

Yea my wife didn't even know he was a musician, until I asked "why is Brian Eno on TV ? has he released a new album?" He was talking about what a fucking mess everything is.
What a good human Brian is with all of his contributions to not only some of the best music ever made but to the world. Saw this recent interview of him talking about the wealthy

great sing but there is a whole album how come you only play ithe same song over and over getting to be like a mainstream radio station always the same songs day after day

ENO=ONE hell of a producer and a musician. He has contributed to many of my favourite songs over decades.

I wouldn't say Brian Eno's voice is his strongest asset but it's got a certain charm.

Just stumbled on an Eno biography (I think on Hulu..?). First 30' so far are interesting. A lot on Roxy Music!

Of all the Brian Eno songs I love, this one has a special place in my heart. So few people know this song, so I'm thrilled to hear it on RP!

Starts off sounding a bit like Skateaway by Dire Straits. Similar rhythm.

Curiously, I've been hearing bits & pieces of Eno on various other outlets in recent days. Maybe he's staging a mini comeback!. Love this album for it's mighty collaboration, gorgeous tunes & relative obscurity. More of this, please, Bill.

This was the first song that I presented to RP when I became a listener years ago. I always wondered why it wasn't scooped up. But I am so happy that everyone can hear this now. I think it's beautifully composed and performed.

Something new!! Yeepee!!
Eno is undeniably great, and influential. But you know who else is great? John Cale! And his 50-year solo career is unrepresented here except as a producer. Off to the suggestion box!
You go, mmt. There only seems to be one Cale tune (Paris 1919) in the RP database and it doesn’t seem to get played much. I’m pretty sure I’ve never heard it.
