It may seem that way, but it's not really that simple. That sort of dismissal is a false dichotomy, similar to the recent quote from one of Trump's lackeys claiming (paraphrased) that 'you're either on the side of Trump's immigration policies, or you're in favor of terrorists'.
I'm not sure if I deserve the provenance, and I do think there may be a few fleeting reasons for continued support. But in the face of ongoing evidence, those reasons are few, thin and very convoluted. There is a much more obvious answer for the continued support, and it's not flattering to the supporters. At this pace, the excuses will be exhausted soon.

didn't get why he got the primary, after the post-2020 election made him unqualified, but I guess I was still willing to engage with these folks...
