I like the original.  As a kid I enjoyed Walter Murphy's version, and I think this is a legimate successor to that tradition.  I also really like Bastiste.

I'm glad my appreciation for music is not so pure or narrow to prevent me from enjoying casaual, fun and different songs.
Not a fan of this. Especially the tuneless percussive bits.
and the original is already boring and repetitive. this is not an improvement
Much better than Jon Batiste's tin-eared repurposing of Beethoven.
Ack! I’m having a flashback to Walter Murphy and A Fifth of Beethoven. I wish THAT song had stayed buried in the 70s.
That’s not fair to Olusola because this is actually kind of a fun tune.
You lost me at the Referees Whistle....
Man, I don't care about the definitions.
This just sounds extremely good to my ears...
I just heard a piece yesterday on NPR about this guy. Multi-talented!
For you doubters, he's introducing classical music to younger people, who then might be interested enough to listen to the originals.
SURE - why not?! Good for him.
I guess I still have to work on my open-mindedness. Best I could manage was not to skip.
Sounds like a soundtrack to a multigenre film.
For now, I'll stick with Wendy Carlos : ) And Jon Batiste!
