This song sums up quite well my experience growing up in a small town in the Midwest in the 1980's.
Great that RP also found Sam Fender. Also check out his brothers music!
Thanks for introducing me, did NOT expect this artist to be British at first. I see those skanky sax solos near the end of the song is his trademark.

Nice comment Bill. Ain’t it true.

I'm a bit mixed on the new songs played on RP from Sam but really digging this one.  Quickly caught my ear with the intro.  My favorite of his newest songs, so far.  A rockin' tune for me.

I get that for sure. I find the new little gems though. That's why I'm here. Then I dig a bit and find out soon enough if its for me. Be well.
The guitar sound made me feel like I was listening to Billy Talent.

Talisker the dog and I love this song, but Kate and Copper the dog don't really approve.

Hey Everybody- This artist reminds me of Jeff Buckley’s voice & sentiment. I did get to see Jeff Buckley play… woah. He did an acapapolco : ) version of a New Order song. So agile was he.

If you get a chance to see Sam and his band absolutely go.  Brilliant.
The song got me! The horn section is spot on! Thanks RP!

Why does it feel like the music and the lyrics are disconnected? I guess it's just me.
I like this. Alot.
This is my theme song! Lol…
Glimpse of Jeff Buckley.

A Geordie boy with an American sound. Whay-ay! Howay the lad :o)
