reminds me of the Waterboys a bit
Funny, I saw Coco Robicheaux perform at the Dragon's Den, back in the day. Someone had told me he liked Tabasco in his beer, I didn't believe it until I saw him do it...
Something David Lindley going on in here, something rollicking, good mojo
This is not usually my sort of music - but this song hits for me. I got this whole album and enjoy it quite a bit. Thanks for the introduction!
I initially misheard the lyrics as “intoxicated love.” But the actual lyrics refer to Decatur Street in New Orleans.
I'm psyched! He's coming to play soon at the Louisville Street Faire just over the hill from me here -- can't wait!
I have had some beautiful experiences on Decatur St.  Love this song.
This guy is entirely unknown here in his home country of Sweden. For good reason apparently.

Awhile ago he sounded like Lowell George.  Kind of looks like him, too.

I really like this.  Seems to know how to write lyrics.  Any time you can used the word "refrain" is cool.

Totally! Very strong Jackson influence here. Almost an homage. Totally works for me!

Currently lives in my town of New Orleans and has embedded himself as a true "Son of the City."  A great performer, a charming and humble guy in person, thank you RP for giving him and his wonderful music an international platform.  Dark Decatur no doubt refers somehow to Decatur Street in the French Quarter.  The "Dark" reference will be up for speculation, inference, inspiration...
He do be very good me thinks.
нормальный музончик
On this track at least, illustrated by that photo, Mr. Osborne doesn't LOOK like he SOUNDS.  Surfing mountain man viking berserker dude morphed into a Josh Ritter type playing at a rockin square dance.

Irritating voice, poor melody, simplistic accompaniment (apart from the wind instruments), repetitive.

Excellent beard though.

I first heard Anders Osborne here a week or so ago, there was something about his music that really intrigued me, I'm not sure if it's the unusual annunciation of his lyrics, the accent that isn't quite Southern, the shredding guitar, the odd, almost forced rhyming schemes, the tight production of a loose feeling song, I dunno but I devoured this whole album and then downloaded a bunch of his other albums. This one is my favorite, for all the reasons I attempted to name above- the other albums just didn't have those qualities, with the exception of a few songs on Peace. Anyway, thanks for the introduction, William! I don't understand the relatively low rating for this guy...

Such a nice tune! The length just makes me sink in and really listen to the lyrics instead of just the bouncy rhythm
I had to look up what Decatur meant. RP schooling me in verse and song. Delicious…
I really enjoyed that.
Thanks.
WOW!!  What a great song and even better Anders!!  New music and artist.  It's an 8 right out of the box and I might even bump it the next time I hear it.

Bill’s throwing up too much great new music to keep up with in the last few weeks! Keep it coming!!
