We're not playing because it's a hit. That's largely irrelevant in a day when everybody listens to playlists, not the radio. We're playing it because I think it's quirky, fun, and catchy as hell.

Giving it a 10 out of spite against the army of haters. Perfectly serviceable pop song which bops along with a happy vibe. The Selena Gomez vocal is a superfluous but presumably necessary addition for the international market (the original Nigerian version is exactly the same but without the added vocal).
A reasonable question to ask is why a huge (and ubiquitous) international pop hit is in RP's rotation. I guess 'eclectic' covers ALL bases.

i am listening day in and out for 10+ years. seldomly obiously there are songs i dont really like (among countless others which are enriching daily life and often are resulting in the discovery of artists unknown to me), but all them, like it or not have e certain "quality level" musically - burt this is the first time i considered seriously to stop the app and change.

please "new" radio paradise-keep your signature up and stick with quality and dont try to fish in a crowd which wont stick with you neverthless

I might like this more if it wouldn't be drowned in the exact same DSP effects sauce as the majority of unremarkable contemporary pop songs on commercial radio. What is wrong with just singing into a plain old microphone and not trying to make oneself sound like some kind of robot?

A lot of these newer additions also have no year listed, it's always "0", Bill was meticulous with those details.
EDIT: It only happens for legacy.radioparadise.com, but it is a problem that started this year.

I gave this a 1 when I first heard it. Today I was having lunch with some friends and this came on. Every one of them said WTF is this! I have endured it a few times & still don't care for it. I don't expect it to grow on me. It seems I am not alone.
