My money is on the Dinosaur
Billie who? ;)
I love this band more on every listen!
i really like this band more each time i hear them. i got hooked when they were on a late night show back in 2021 i think...anyway...i definitely don't hear any eilish or war on drugs here (but that's just me, and a good thing in my book because i'm not a huge fan of WOD, and definitely not of eilish) i didn't know the lyrics to this one until this read, and i'm digging it even more. maybe because i know a paul. idk

I appreciate so many musicians that share their gifts. Compose it, sing it, play it. Nothing is bad until it simply sucks. However, I lived in Brooklyn, this band's home base, for 42 years. And I gotta say, with city snark, that If I had heard this type of music or at least this song more often, I might have departed sooner.
This song could have been written for Paul Pelosi.
What does it mean to "be your record player"? I don't know what that means. Drive you in circles? Scrape you with a needle?

Me thinks that Mr. G has a wee bit of a man crush for this band....

Just to clarify, I am a big fan of BE and WOD and my comment was definitely meant as a compliment.

Sounds more like some ancient Dutch :) In modern dutch it's Eendracht maakt macht (Unity makes strength)
So probably from the old day when New York went by the name New Amsterdam?
