I submitted "Shake Some Action" a couple of months ago, but sadly, no action.

Unless I missed it I don't see anyone recalling his awesome guitar work on the 11 minute Sabre Dance by Love Sculpture.  Incredibly fast fretwork...  would have given Satriani, Van Halen,  etc a run for their money

He was always dogged by accusations that that was studio trickery... speeding up the tape.

I'll start this one off at a 7 too, not that I've heard it before, and I'm finding I like this 'new to my ears' rocknroll tune....neato and Long Live RP!!
This lil ditty sure makes me happy!

Thank God for the PSD button—I jumped from yet another airing of Dengue Fever to Dave Edmunds. Massive leap in enjoyability.

Seems that gems like this are reserved for just those PSD moments.   Not that i mind.

Dave Edmunds, Nick Lowe, Elvis Costello ... good times in the late 70s!

Since you are dancing in my imagination, dancingdancingdancing it is.
Thanks Bill!!!!!
Classic! A Buddy Holly Bruce Springsteeen John Fogarty hybrid.

Yep, its an outtake from "The River," I think.

I LOVE this guy's work both solo and with Rockpile... {#Bananajam}

When I hear Dave Edmunds I think about crawling from the wreckage.

How do we vote for "Almost Saturday Night" from this cd? One of the great opening guitar licks evah.

I agree. John Fogerty probably does too.

Bill, I 2nd, 3rd & 4th bringing in some ROCKPILE.

Saw Dave in Philly many many years ago. Outstanding show, and this is a great cover of Bruce's "From Small Things..."

And let me echo some previous comments...how about some Rockpile?
Great song, 9
DE and Nick Lowe were just great in Rockpile.  Nice change to hear this on RP.

I've been workin' that angle for awhile now, to no avail.   Seconds of Pleasure is still awesome over 30 years later.

This is the best I can do for you...

Bruce wrote it. He recorded it too—but don't think it ever made a proper 'album'.

{#Lol}   I always thought that Dave Edmunds was a talented writer, performer and producer, but I didn't realize he had also mastered time travel.
