True enough. Juniper berries are essential in venison casseroles as they impart an important piquancy to the dish. On a complete tangent, there's an excellent Scottish malt whiskey called Tomatin, from the Gaelic Tom Aitinn, or hill of the juniper. A dram of which, after a bowl of venison casserole, would go down well whilst listening to this fine track {#Cheers}

ME TOO! I QUIT A FRIGGIN CLIPPING PATH TO FIND OUT WHO IT WAS.
I generally liked it except for the car alarm. Sheesh!
I used to go see Etienne play in San Francisco; he recently moved away. Great guy, great musician.

You read my ears. A younger version with a slightly lower, fuller voice. I know some people on RP like to knock Paul Simon, but I'm impressed with is willingness to still change and stretch. I wish Art Garfunkel would stop trying to drag him back into more S&G nostalgia tours and find his own voice.
the one knocking drum was so well placed I though for a second someone was at the door

Very sweet tune! I like my Gin with a splash and a twist.

Junipers have a distinct smell/aroma and a prickly touch . . . as do roses. And apparently the woman in this song has similar qualities.
