Incredibly hard to sit still while this is playing-let the chair dancing begin..
a great song and a cool band.
This reminds me of an Estonian folk rock band called Oort that my Estonian friends put me onto back in 2001 - their self-titled album is great, the song Mehetapja Maie was my favourite, builds in an amazing way!
Also hello from Melbourne Australia! And thank you to my Naim sound system for awakening me to this fantastic radio station

I assume Garmarna and their producer wanted the serious distortion. Many artists, including guitar players by the thousands, intentionally push their tube amps to the limit to achieve just the right type of distortion.
You can find electronic devices that will simulate tube amp distortions in case you can't afford a real-life tube amp.
Great piece in need of a good producer/sound engineer team. Could be so good…

I don't know what these lyrics are saying, but I like to think it's a spaghetti sauce recipe.
Add about a half teaspoon of oregano
But don't add too much or it will make it taste salty
or something like that.

I love it!
Not bad. Have to hear it more to rate it
I love Sweden. Swedes are kind, cultured people. Why would they torture people with this screaching?
NOISE!
I would love to segue this with Yat-Kha's "Come Along" How about it Bill?

Yes, the swedish text is like something written in the medieval ages.
Very grim and dark sung, the english translation is very close too the swedish text.
The text is traditional, probably very old, judging from the Swedish lyrics.
The Vulture: Lyrics in Swedish and English
And this from a review at rhythmus.net :
"Vengeance is a collection of woeful songs that fill the listener with both dread and wonder. Emma HÀrdelin, the singer of these songs, provides the focus in a collection of songs that call up the winds and whisper dreadful things in your ear."
This rocks. 'Course I would like to know what she's all worked up about.
This song just... works. I can't describe it better than that. The energy from the drumline and distortion, coupled with the fanciful flights from the strings and her gorgeous voice.
I'll be dancing about the warehouse for a bit. Anyone care to visit? I need someone to partner. =)
