The inanity of the last few posts on this song proves the song's worthlessness -- you know, if you kinda squint. (And did I mention I think DCFC is even more overhyped than Coldplay? Feh, meh, bah, hah...... the Casio tunesters who managed a disc-full of tunelets. Yeah, I guess I have mentioned that! )

They almost said it themselves: "Sometimes I think this never ends..." MT

Uh... when did I post that? Makes no sense to me. Although that doesn't mean I didn't post it...

Wow, nice comeback.
I knew that you would love it. I've got more where that one came from, too. ;)

Yeah, good one, nerd.

Yup, plodding beat, simplistic melody, feeble attempt to save it with some "raunchy" guitar, then back to the "da da da da da da da" vocals again. Feh. Or perhaps blech. A "2".
Indeed. a 2.

this was a fair to middling tune to begin with, but it's starting to feel like steel squeaking against my skin...
Really getting tired of this one now. Overplayed.

Excellent, excellent album. Great song too, and not even my favorite on the cd. Yet again RP helps me discover a band I love.
I absolutely love this band. The lyrics are amazing, and the beats are great. I own Transatlanticism, and I'm probably going to buy the rest of their cd's soon. I really like Death Cab because when I listen to them, I get the feeling that they don't write the song for a chrorus, or to go for a certain rhyme scheme, but they end up there, and then they create this fantastic beat to encompass the lyrics. I'd have to say that my favorite song on the album is Tiny Vessels, or Passenger Seat.

OK..that's it.. I am getting this CD!! soooo lovely!

Ah, expo 86. I was 8 at the time. Thanks so much for playing this song! :propeller.gif:

Ben Gibbard, lead singer of DCFC is also the singer in Postal Service. It's sort of a side project with Jimmy Tamborello (aka Dntel).

i don't like the thought of skin squeaking against steel :(

I think the first 6 tunes are especially solid. This one included.

Ha ha! I was at Expo '86 in Vancouver! All I remember was the Lebanon pavilion with a little sign that said "Next show in 5 minutes." Half an hour later, the show still hadn't started.
