Don't get me wrong - I like Annie. "Little Bird" is a fine song and she can belt out a few good numbahs too as well (Would I lie to you honeyyyy?)
But putting Annie after Billie is just unfair! It's like listening to Copeland played after Mozart - Copeland is fantastic, but Mozart is like listening to a supreme entity. Billie at her best is like that too - it is probably best to just play some instrumental - some VERY GOOD instrumental. (Take Five for example ... hint, hint or Blue Rondo a la Turk ;) )
Sometimes music pairings are important - I bet Bill likes this because it supports the premise that doing a good job playing sets of music really makes being a DJ somewhat of a craft, if not an art.

She just keeps getting better and better....
At first I thought it was Chris DeBurgh (of Don't Pay the Ferryman fame) singing! And in fact, the song does have a DeBurgh flavor (tone and harmonies) to it.
there is only one Annie; and thank God for her

Yet another CD I have to have. RP seems to be costing me quite a bit of money lately!
This album is fantastic. I highly recommend clicking on the RP link to Amazon and buying it today!!
Great Wow. Hearing this makes me wanna go out and buy the CD :nodhead:
There's still nobody quite like her. This is just flat wonderful .
She's still got it!!!
i like it.
Long overdue! Excellent.

It\'s good to hear that voice again.
Her new \'Bare\' is exquisite. Flowing tracks from start to finish. Great record, thanks RP!

I have never been able to get into Annie Lennox. There is something about her voice that sounds like nails on a chalkboard. Nothing personal against her, just expect me to turn down the volume when any of her songs are played.
