That di Franco's songs provoke such gendered responses surely says more about their respondents than about the artist or her work. Perhaps it's worth reflecting on why that is. Ugh....I dont think I can stand anything by this girl. She has nothing on Tori, Aimee, or Sheryl.

Why do Ani DiFranco fans say \"Yay!\" so much and why do they use so many CAPITALS and exclamation points?!!

Ani Difranco is like the John Madden of alt.rock, except instead of saying "BOOM!" every 5 words, she has to use the word f*ck. I don't see why football fans love Madden so much, and I'm not sure why Difranco has such a fan base, either.
Blah.
Doesn't it seem hypocritical that the website is designed to censor foul language written by RP listeners with an asterisk and yet this song is in the playlist? The statement seems to be: "It's OK for an 'artist' to express themselves in whatever language they choose, but those of us not behind a microphone must hide behind black boxes."

Have to agree. Just saw her in Anchorage and she kicked ass!
Hey look eveyone, I said F**K! Why do I get the distinct impression this girl doesn\'t shave her legs.
Dot
tremendous!
Listening to RP has meant more opportunity to listen to Ani. My appreciation for her has certainly grown. I dig it!

Maybe church music is more your thing?
