i am luke warm toward tom petty, but his voice seems especially bad on this track. sorry.

Among the greatest gifts that Florida has given to the world of pop rock, he is. 
Because a lot of people like listening to his music, buy his albums/CD's and pay to see him in concert. It's just music.
