Bill,the kids & me like it !
Thank you! Thank you!
Steve Miller before he completely sold out. I used to LOVE this song, and haven't heard it in a dog's age. In several dog's ages.
Now, how about my other favorite from this era: "Journey to Babel"?
quite the jam....Steve Miller?
When you're in the right mood (of course!) lovely, sunny, care-free, celebrate life music. Hey, ho!
Guitar man!!!

Referrence to an old 50's song... can't seem to remember the band. Oh, here, this should illuminate.

Like with (ack!) Abracadabra.
If I only knew I could write lyrics too

Fantastic. I played the hell out of this album back in the day, too.
I am inclined to agree on liking his pre mid 70s stuff the best. Just listened to some of the later stuff a while back and loved it though. Big Old Jet Air Liner....
A great song from "Number 5". After that unfortunately with his commercial success the quality went down. Your Saving Grace is still one of my desert island discs.
I was never a big Steve Miller fan but saw him last weekend in Memphis and he put on a great show in a driving rain. When most bands refused to play or shortened their sets, Ol' Maurice showed them what rock & roll is all about.

Yes.

this is SUCH a good song off of a TERRIFIC album. i thought i was the only person left who knew about it. this is one of the very few albums i can put on and listen to from start to finish. thanks again bill for making this such a unique station.
From Steve Miller #5 if I recall correctly. I have it at home, and it was for a very long time one of my favorite albums. A collection of wonderful tunes.

The album cover shown on the site is wrong for this song. This song isn't on Brave New World; it's on Number 5.
