Remember The Chris Isaac Show?  A sorta reality TV show before there were reality  shows.  It was fictional but also Chris and all (most) of his band-mates played themselves -- it was raw and funny and wonderful.

I also saw him in concert (opening for Sarah McLachlan) floating on a raft in the centre of the Elora Gorge (in Ontario, CA) which is an old mined pit, now filled with water and a favourite local swim spot.  But as a concert venue it was magic; the audience sitting around the edges of the steep rock walls looking down on the floating raft/stage.  Sound was gorgeous and, as the sun set, so was the night.

First time I have thought of Elora Quarry in errr 50 years. Used to skinny dip there in the early 70's.  Ahhh, those U of G days.

LOVE IT!! And so great to hear it again
I can't hear the chorus without expecting the B-52s to jump in at any second.

Saw him a few months ago and he was crackin jokes about the many little mirror suit he is wearing in that Wiki pic of him. A good musician, lyricist and seems like a good guy with a fine sense of humor too.
definitely a sound of the early 90s! I still enjoy his work
Surprised I'm first here.  This is quite nice and a bit different from his usual style.
