I'm pretty sure the girls changed the lyrics for this version and are saying "hold me, love me or leave me hard"
Into the Wild (2007)

Directed by Sean Penn
Original Soundtrack by Eddie Vedder

I haven't seen "Wild" yet, but thought I'd throw this out there for you folks who haven't seen it. It's pretty fucking good.

Yup. I'm a connoisseur of covers and love First Aid Kit, but this one just leaves me wanting to hear the original again.

Apparently they started filming with the backpack filled with crumpled newspaper.
The woman the movie is based on was a consultant, and insisted the pack be filled to 60 lbs, the actual weight she carried.
The director agreed. Reese was not amused.

Sixty pounds? How much does/did Cheryl Strayed weigh? The recommended weight of a backpack is 25-33% of your body weight. Reese doesn't look like a big woman, so I imagine that 60 pounds would get to her pretty quickly.

I love Reese as an actress, so I may have to check out the movie. I don't really cotton to stories about people whose lives implode before they come together again because the collateral damage is often pretty widespread and intense. Based on the movie trailer, that seems to have been the case with Cheryl.

I like it.  Thanx RP for introducing me to First Aid Kit.

Her thighs are skinny. Take it from me, having hiked a lot in my younger days with a load as big as hers. No quads, very few miles.
Likewise, the song is a bit thin, too.

Nice cover.

Are you suggesting the actress didn't actually hike 1000 miles like the character in the story?

Next you're going to tell me Bradley Cooper wasn't actually shooting real people in American Sniper...  {#Tongue-out}

Sweet Swedish Songstresses.
Now I want to watch the movie too. The song is not very good, but the album cover is intriguing. I like going out into the wild.
cool - I liked it by REM and its nice to hear the girls take on it
