Did Jam fans follow Paul over to his new thing? I seem to remember some a lot of disgruntlement.
I dug them, but they werenât the Jam.
Similarly, the stuff heâs doing now isnât the SC or The Jam.
I caught him at HSB in SF a couple of years ago and he was really on fire, and complained that his set was over when he was just getting warmed up. In between each song he smoked about half a cigarette. (Whatever it takes, Paul!)
Some of his newer stuff leaves me cold.
